Peggie Jenkins Brousseau – Speaker
Owner/Designer at Sundance Cabinet Design & Sales in Whitefish Montana
Peggie has worked in the cabinet industry for over 30 years in various roles. She began her career as a data entry and office support staff for a small cabinet dealership and moved into sales a few years later. Now, she owns and operates Sundance Cabinets, working closely with contractors and homeowners, designing functional spaces with cabinetry. During her partnership with Decor Cabinets, she has received multiple Elite Design Awards.
Jessica Curry – Speaker
CKD, Owner/Designer at Interiors By J. Curry LLC
Jessica has been in the industry for 20+ years. She founded Interiors by J. Curry and opened a destination showroom in 2022 in Rochester, MN. She believes using a detailed, fresh approach to each project is the key to her success and why clients seek her out for her expertise. She is regarded as a highly experienced and sought-after professional, having received many accolades, including a National Kitchen and Bath Association Minnesota Design award in 2020 and 2022 and the Midwest Home Design award in 2021.
Laura Bartlett – Speaker
Behold Design
Laura was born and raised in Toronto. Before her entry into the design industry, she worked in the music business, where she became Vice-President and General Manager of Virgin Records Canada, Senior Vice-President of HMV North American and President of Zomba Records (Jive Records). Laura went to school for Interior Design in the UK and then returned to Canada to work at Designers Plus (Kitchen & Bath), where she first worked with Decor Cabinets. She left Designers Plus to start her own business, behold design in 2013 and promptly signed up to be a Decor cabinetry dealer.
Kate Sawchyn – Speaker
Designer at Towne & Countree Kitchens
Kate Sawchyn starts her designs with a comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs and expectations. She knows a great designer will take the client’s style and vision and execute it beautifully – without stress for the customer. Kate accomplishes this with Towne and Countree Kitchens in Edmonton, Alberta. After 18 years in the industry, she has learned that design work should start with a straightforward process and develop into relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
